About us
Our aim is to strengthen the provision of midwifery care in the region in order to offer (expectant) mothers good care and support before, during and after the birth.
The Midwifery Care Network was initiated by the districts of Traunstein and Berchtesgadener Land and is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care’s Future Obstetrics Program.
We maintain a network of midwives, public institutions, clinics, gynaecologists and paediatricians, schools and universities.
- We are the contact for students – we are also happy to inform you personally about careers, studies and internship opportunities.
- We support midwives during their studies – we are happy to help you with a scholarship or with finding a colleague for your practical assignment
- We organize training courses for midwives close to home
- We relieve our midwives from bureaucracy and work organization
