About us
Our goal is to strengthen the provision of midwifery support in the region in order to be able to offer (expectant) mothers good care and support before, during and after birth.
The network office for midwifery care was initiated by the districts of Traunstein and Berchtesgadener Land and is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care’s Future Obstetrics Program.
We maintain a network of midwives, public institutions, clinics, gynecologists/pediatricians, schools and universities.
- We are the contact for students – we are also happy to inform you personally about careers, studies and internship opportunities.
- We support midwives during their studies – we are happy to help you with a scholarship or with finding a colleague for your practical assignment
- We organize training courses for midwives close to home
- We relieve our midwives from bureaucracy and work organization
